Product Description
When trimming aquatic plants, it’s crucial to trim evenly along intentional lines. In order to do this appropriately, it is necessary to have flexibility in your tool set. In other words, make sure to have a curve pair of scissors in order to trim low-lying foreground plants like glossostigma, and straight type to trim stem plants in the background along an intentional line that follows the aquascape.
The tips of curve type are curved in order to easily trim thickly growing carpet plants as shown above. Regular pruning of the carpet plants prevents the overgrowth, which can cause the plants to rot from the bottom (due to lack of access to light), resulting in the top portion floating away.
